Perception measures your general awareness of your surroundings and the keenness of your senses. It involves using a combination of senses to notice something that's easy to miss.
Example Uses
- Notice something that's easy to miss using a combination of senses
- Spot hidden creatures or objects
- Listen for approaching danger
- Detect subtle changes in your environment
- Notice details others might overlook
When to Use Perception
The GM might call for a Wisdom (Perception) check when you attempt to:
- Spot a hidden creature or trap
- Hear someone approaching through a door
- Notice that someone is following you
- Detect a concealed object or clue
- Sense that something is "off" about a situation
